STREET DREAMS
by KENTON PARKER

November 17th – January 19th, 2003

Enter the subconscious of the dreaming artist, where vibrant and controversial images that have not yet been discovered or tainted by critics. A place where rising stars can show the world their dreams and have a chance to live them out. Dreaming of the opportunity to be seen and recognized, without barriers, in an almost fascist art world. Then it’s time to wake up to reality, but there’s hope…

With a new gallery window annex in Chelsea New York, Kantor Gallery wants dreams to come true by extending outward to the east coast. Owners Douglas Oliver and Associates have renovated this historic building in the heart of Chelsea and are bringing it back to life with a touch of art. Kantor and Oliver have worked together on this idea for almost two years. Finally, this old Tenth Avenue beauty is ready to been seen, and Kantor is making a New York debut.

Kantor Gallery is celebrating its opening with the Street Dreams of artist Kenton Parker. Just a like a dream from a small town kid to make it big one day, Parker starts with his own dream. Knowing that no one can take our dreams, we dream big and free. Kenton Parker is displaying his first of a series of photographs entitled “Street Dreams”. His exhibit will run from November 17th through January 19th.
