Kantor Gallery is pleased to present a new solo exhibition by Los Angeles based artist Laura Watters.

“We see her scream, stagger, fall, rise and scream again. She is abject terror personified. Final girl is the idealized prototype and rewarded for her obedience and purity, sparing her life. Behave or die. She must go through hell and back, screaming, running, and stabbing her way to survival. My story is that of the final girl. In the end, she survives.”  – Laura Watters

Laura Watters (Los Angeles, ca 1989) lives and works in Los Angeles. She studied Art History and Fine Arts at George Washington University and later attended Otis College of Art and Design. On top of her studio practice she has also curated numerous projects over the last 5 years.
