Kantor Gallery is pleased to announce “Into You,” a new solo exhibition by Los Angeles based artist Guy Rusha starting March 5, 2021, through March 15, 2021.

A show of seven oil portraits and works on paper. This is the third exhibition in a series of portraits of women (Her, Horton Gallery, NYC 2011 and She Looks Nice, The Sunday Painter, London 2012), and the first where the subjects are explicitly named and recognizable.

Azealia Banks, an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and actress; Mia Khalifa, a Lebanese American media personality, webcam model, and former pornographic actress; Sonoya Mizuno, an English actress, model, and ballet dancer; Lupita Nyong’o, a Kenyan Mexican actress; Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for New York’s 14th congressional district since 2019; Rachael Ostovich an American mixed martial artist who competes in the Flyweight division; and Emma Watson, English actress, model, and activist.

This exhibition is for my two daughters – James and Ryan.
